6 days of pure riding, from Djerba
DesertFlow opens the Grand Erg Oriental to enduro riders and lovers of wide-open country. You ride our desert-prepared enduro bikes. From the moment you land in Djerba, you join a 7-day full-board expedition built around technical riding: speed across dry salt flats, reading sand waves, crossing giant dune ridges. In the evening, a Berber bivouac around the fire. Groups of 8 riders maximum; motorcycle licence required.
Enduro Djerba is not a day rental and not a two-week Europe–Tunisia ferry raid: it is a compact circuit from Djerba, with the bike provided, 4×4 logistics and a mechanic every evening, packing 1,175 km of real desert into one week. Daily briefings, GPS navigation and a French-speaking opener structure every roadbook stage. Expect long dune days, salt-flat straights and oasis stops without the logistics overhead of bringing your own bike. Safety radio and chase support stay with the convoy from Djerba to the final hand-back.
The 450 cc fleet
For the Sahara and the hardest dune ridges, DesertFlow provides a fleet of 450 cc enduro bikes. Torque pulls you out of soft sand; power holds the long tracks and the dry salt flats.
- Built for the desert: reinforced sand filters, suspension set up for sand, large-capacity tanks.
- Bike provided: the 450 cc is in the rate. You bring licence, helmet and protective gear.
- Tight group: eight riders at most, so pace and immediate support stay intact.
Logistics and mechanical support
- Workshop 4×4: a support vehicle follows the convoy with luggage, tents, water, fuel and a mobile workshop.
- Dedicated mechanic: every evening at camp — air filters, chain, fluid levels. The 450 cc bikes leave ready the next morning.
- Wear parts: levers, gear selectors, tyres, heavy-duty tubes, cables, radiators.

Seasons and departures
Enduro Djerba runs every Saturday from October to May. Outside that window (June–September), heat and sandstorms degrade safety and mechanics; DesertFlow does not schedule this raid in summer.
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights. Arrival at Djerba-Zarzis (DJE); transfers included. Typical season daytime temperatures: 20–26°C. Evenings at camp can drop toward 5–15°C, so a fleece and windbreaker remain useful even on mild October or April weeks. Live seat availability for each Saturday is published on the events calendar. Book early for peak months (October–November and March–April), when Djerba departures fill first.
