Jimny & Dunes — 7 private desert days
Seven days of pure adventure in southern Tunisia, at the wheel of your Suzuki Jimny. This 4x4 raid is built for small groups of 10 people at most, so the desert stays authentic.
Tracks, dunes and oases, with an expert French-speaking guide. Driving is open to everyone: a dune-driving briefing is included from day 2. The recent automatic Jimnys go where larger 4x4s cannot.

Djerba → Tataouine → Ksar Ghilane
Into the jebel, tracks, sand-driving training, sunset. Hot-spring swim, 1-hour camel ride included. Night: private camp.

Ksar Ghilane → Grand Erg → Camp Mars Tembaine
A full day in the dunes. Loop through the Grand Erg around Tembaine. Dune-reading and obstacle workshops.

Moderate level. Walks of 1 hour at most on sand. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Soft bag, 20 kg maximum. A hard suitcase is not recommended.

October to April: 15–28 °C by day, 5–15 °C at night. A sleeping bag is provided at camp.

No mandatory vaccine. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a scarf.

Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel, paid amounts are refunded on this scale. Bank charges and a 50 € handling fee stay with you, whatever the notice period.

Do I need prior 4x4 sand driving experience?
No prior sand driving experience is needed. You drive your own Suzuki Jimny in a convoy coached by radio by our desert scout.
What is the minimum age for the 4x4 Jimny raid?
The raid is open to families with children from age 7 (50% discount for children under 12). Drivers must be 23+ with 2+ years license.
How does this differ from standard 1-day 4x4 Djerba tours?
This is a real 7-day / 6-night self-drive expedition deep into the Sahara (Ksar Ghilane, Tembaine, Tozeur, Chott el-Jérid), not a quick tourist excursion.
How do I get to the departure point in Djerba?
Regular and charter flights land directly at Djerba-Zarzis Airport (DJE). Our team meets you at arrival and all hotel/airport transfers are included.
How many participants per 4x4 raid group?
Groups are capped at 6 to 10 participants (2 per Jimny vehicle, 5 vehicles maximum per convoy) to ensure intimacy, flow and safety.
